Retired Racehorse Project 2020!!

Retired Racehorse Project is an organization that promotes the training of off the track Thoroughbreds for their next career. They have created a competition called the RRP Makeover where trainers work with a Thoroughbred for 10 months or less with the goal of competing in Lexington Kentucky in October! Ears was Omega’s first representative in 2017 and we are excited to have two more in 2020!

Conner is an 8yo Thoroughbred gelding rescued fresh the kill pen with severe rain rot. His skin is improving every day so don’t mind his clip job!

Taco is a 5 year old Thoroughbred gelding. He is a lot of personality packed in a small body and we can’t wait to see how he comes along On his journey to the RRP Makeover!

Congrats Ears!!

Horse of the Month!!

Mish Mash

Mish Mash is a smooth and safe gaited horse ready for her new home!

Pony of the Month!!

Muffin is a pony mare that is ready for her next kid or small adult!

You can help!

Caring for horses is an incredibly rewarding experience but it’s also financially demanding. The costs of caring for more than 100 horses a year is staggering. As a non-profit organization, Omega Horse Rescue relies entirely on private donations to operate. There are several ways you can help.

By donating through Pay Pal, your monetary donations allow us to apply monies directly towards the care of the horses at the rescue or new horses in need. If you donate through PayPal please choose to SEND TO SOMEONE YOU TRUST. That way fees are not taken on your donation.

Omega Horse Rescue is grateful for donations of any amount, from individuals, families, groups or businesses.

Omega Horse Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit and all donations are  tax-deductible.
